Cellulite Treatment
WHAT IS CELLULITE?
Cellulite is a depression of nay shape or size seen on the surface of the skin, typically on the buttocks or thighs, with a defined edge. A major underlying cause of cellulite are the fibrous bands that tether your skin to the structures below. These bands are called septa.
Septa can be different for different women or in different parts of the body. Some septa are good (and you want them as connective tethers), but others stiffen or shrink over time and lead to the dimples you see on the surface and call cellulite.
HOW AVELI WORKS
While many treatments approach cellulite from the outside-in, Aveli uses a hand held device guided by an expertly trained provider to target and release the septa bands causing the cellulite from the inside-out. Aveli takes a no-nonsense approach to treating cellulite dimples. It allows the provider to verify their work, for lasting results after a single treatment.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TREATMENT
A typical Aveli procedure will take around an ninety minutes, including local anesthesia and the procedure itself. Exact timing will vary depending on the personalized procedure plan from your provider. This procedure can be performed in combination with other aesthetic procedures or alone. There is also the option of general anesthesia (sedation),which could change the amount of time as well.
Step 1. Your doctor guides the Aveli device under the skin directly to the targeted dimples.
Step 2. After your doctor identifies the culprit septa bands causing a dimple, those septa are precisely released.
Step 3. Your doctor can confirm their release in real-time, delivering visibly smoother skin and a lasting result.

FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE
After the procedure we recommend you wear some type of compression on the area treated to help with the swelling and healing. Your doctor will let you know for how long you should wear it. You may experience some mild pain, discomfort within the first 24 hours after treatment. In addition you will experience bruising and tenderness to the touch which typically resolves within 30 days. There could be some areas of firmness, usually not visible or painful, which typically resolves in a couple of months.
Your results should be visible once swelling and bruising subsides. By one month post-procedure you should start to see the effects of the procedure. It is recommended to avoid strenuous activities or workouts in the first few days/weeks after the procedure to allow the area to heal.
