Juvederm Vobella® XC is the most recent addition to the Juvederm family of Dermal Fillers. It is specifically tailored to add subtle volume to the lips and smooth the appearance of vertical lip lines.

It has been specifically developed as a smooth gel to give a soft, natural feel. The gel fills in lip lines and wrinkles while the hyaluronic acid within attracts and retains moisture.  You will see immediate results following this treatment.  Most fillers contain lidocaine so we don’t administer additional anesthesia. Sometimes a topical can be applied but unfortunately, you will still feel the needle pokes.   After the injection, you will feel a little numbness but that will fade over the next few hours following your treatment. Swelling will occur and is natural after lip injections so don’t fear if you think your lips are too big after treatment.  They will go subside after a few days.  This is why we always recommend starting with a smaller amount of filler (especially if it is your first time), it is easier to add than take away.

Even though each product claims their product last longer, we feel most last up to six months.  The longevity of results varies, depending on the area of injection. Touch-up injections of fillers are encouraged to increase the longevity of your results and can be performed 6 – 9 months after the initial injection.
